Apocalypse Brew Works is a homebrewer-run 5 bbl production brewery located on Mellwood Ave. right off I-64W. The brewery and Taproom, The Fallout Shelter opened in May of 2012, producing beer for the masses and your survival.
Their passion is creating small-batch, fresh craft beer. They support sustainability with our solar-heated water, grain reuse, material recycling and the re-use of found objects and equipment used to build their brewery.
With a combined total of over 40 years of homebrewing experience, their local, regional and nationally winning brewers are excited to be a part of Louisville’s great craft beer scene and brewing tradition.
