Buckhead’s/Rocky’s to Host Thunder Over Louisville Craft Beer Extravaganza

BuckheadsThunder Over Louisville is fast approaching and Buckhead’s/Rocky’s will once again be hosting their annual Craft Beer Extravaganza for the event.  From the press release:

If you are looking for a great place to enjoy Thunder Over Louisville, on Saturday, April 12th, then look no further than the river bank in Jeffersonville, IN.  Buckhead Mountain Grill and Rocky’s Sub Pub will host their 7th Annual Craft Beer Festival for Thunder, which will showcase local craft beer favorites like Bluegrass Brewing Company, Falls City, Kentucky Ale, Daredevil Brewing, Sun King, Upland and national top breweries such as New Belgium, Stone Brewing, Sierra Nevada, Oskar Blues, Bell’s, Founders and many more!

This Craft Beer Festival is a family-friendly event.  Adult Tickets are $85 per person and kids 6-12 years old are $25.  Kids under the age of 6 are free.  There will be arts and crafts for kids to participate in.  All tickets include an appetizer and dinner buffet, as well as a Tasting Card* and NON-Alcoholic beverages.  The Craft Beer Tasting Card will include a sample from each brewery’s flagship or session beer.  Additional samples or full size pours will be available for purchase.  (Liquor and wine will be available on-site too).

Brewers, brewery reps and distribution reps will be serving at this event and will be available to talk “beer” throughout the day.  Gates open at 2pm and event will be open till just after the fireworks.  Tickets are available for purchase on-line at http://www.ticketfly.com/event/517467-7th-annual-craft-beer-jeffersonville/ .

Beau can't decide if he's a beer drinker with a whiskey hobby or a whiskey drinker with a beer hobby. Regardless, he has hobbies. He doesn't have any super-powers but once said that if he did he would want to be able to piss gasoline (to save money on filling his car up, you know). Beau's a golfer, a gamer, and a below average guitarist. He also has a much better half who allows him to follow his dreams of becoming a BBQ master, all while enjoying all of what the craft beer world has to offer (thanks Kelley!). And, most of all, his beard is light-years better than John King's.
