Flat 12 Bierwerks Coming to Louisville Market

Let’s all give Indianapolis’ Flat 12 Bierwerks a big warm welcome to Louisville. If you haven’t had any of their great beers, next week will be your chance without having to cross that pesky bridge (but seriously…it’s okay to cross that bridge…there’s some great beer up that-a-way). Flat 12 Bierwerks has partnered with River City Distributing to launch their craft beer in Louisville

Indianapolis, IN – Flat 12 Bierwerks, an Indianapolis based craft brewery, is expanding its distribution into Kentucky. River City Distributing, a beverage distributor based in Louisville, Kentucky, will help launch and represent the product in the Louisville area.

“This is a natural step across the Ohio River for Flat 12. We’ve had a good relationship with the southern part of our state and we’re happy to now extend that to Louisville,” said Rob Caputo, Flat 12’s Co-Founder and Director of Brewing Operations.

The Louisville distribution lineup includes: Half Cycle IPA, Pogue’s Run Porter and a rotation of seasonals and specialties in draft and bottles. Flat12 Bierwerks seasonal line-up includes: Lacto-Matic Milk Stout(winter), Nunmoere Black-an American Black Ale (spring), Cucumber Kölsch (summer) and Flat Jack Pumpkin Ale(fall).   

Flat 12 Bierwerks goes beyond distributing its beers in a region to being active participants within the communities in which it distributes, including support of environmental initiatives, arts, culture, sport/athletic activities and more. “We’re looking forward to being part of the Louisville craft beer scene and the many facets of Louisville life that it complements,” said Co-Founder/CEO Sean O’Connor
