Get your beer geek on in a big way by impressing the bartender with your knowledge of malted grains.  To the trained taster it makes a difference where the grains are grown and how they are malted.  Zane Thorn experimented using Pilsner grains from three different malting houses, and shared his experience (and beers) during the education session at a recent L.A.G.E.R.S.
