UPDATE (1/16/2014): Great Flood Brewing Company just got their TTB Approval! Congratulations!
Before recording our podcast Sunday, I dropped in to check the progress at Great Flood Brewing (2120 Bardstown Road – next to North End Cafe). Matthew, Zach and Vince were all there swinging hammers. The place is really coming together. They’ve hit a small snag in obtaining their paperwork, but that’s not stopping them, and they’re still on track for a February 2014 opening.
The polished concrete floor is stunning, and judging by the great tilework in the bathroom, the rest of the place will be finished beautifully. Back when we interviewed them for the podcast (Episode 5), they were only taking half of the space, but now they’re taking the whole building. Future-proofing!
